How can I improve my SEO?

Without doing any special SEO, I got my first result from Google two days ago.

What can I do to continue to get results from search engines, like Google?

Continue writing good content, and promoting your content on social bookmarking, forums, YouTube videos, word of mouth, and blog commenting.

Making sure your website loads fast can also help your rankings a little bit since Google does pay a little attention to how fast your page loads.
 
Backlinks will help with SEO. I would make sure that you attempt to get your forum linked on other websites that share the same niche or are somewhat related. Make sure they have the dofollow part enabled 😉

Content is always king as well. Make sure content updating it daily if not every hour or even minute. Be extremely active, have active staff and get members active as well.

Though I wonder if Google Page Rank is obsolete, I got my admin forum homepage to PR3 in 3 months total 😀 by doing all of the above tips!
 
just do what you are doing now such as building backlinks.

It's because SEO is not special. It's not new and it's not the "thing" which gets you results. It's now unique content because Google recognises if everyone does SEO then what criteria is there to getting results? It's the uniqueness of the content.
 
Try reaching out to .edu websites and build backlinks on their website as long as it is relevant to your services or pruduct.

.edu website backlinks are very powerful and search engines will definitely give you authority for that.
 
I am doing forums but the keywords are going backward how can i improve it please give your suggestions.
 
Stop worrying about SEO. Build your community up. Have we all forgotten what a forum is? What a bulletin board provides visitors? Focus on your community and members. Well, I tend to buy a domain with huge relevance, like mysite for example, http://undellabay.com is a pokemon website, and the location 'Undella Bay' is a major location in the pokemon Black and White Version games, so it drives loads of traffic.

You should also set up a google web master account.
 
Staying at the first page of Google is a strategy like any other. A better way to look at it is by looking at SEO as a race where your success amidst many of your competitors is determined by your proper choice of Key Phrases. Avoid SEO "experts" who do not offer guarantee. Because SEO is a strategy not a routine, a good SEO expert should be in a position to change strategies until you get on the top within a very short span of time.
 
Do SEO then. It's important to maintain your rank and the quality of your site. Otherwise, you'd find yourself at the very bottom of the totem pole.
 
If your site is new then I'd highly recommend that you add new content on a daily basis for at least three months. I did that when I first started and it paid off big time!

Hmm, I can't agree, coz although people are talking about SEO here and there, it is still good to do SEO for your website, otherwise no points for these and those loads of discussions about SEO here and there. Ya Google might know that people are doing SEO to get shown in Google easily, it's still something good for Google, coz it shows that Google is so popular, so why Google does anything for it except keeping their search engine powerful?
 
Keep the website Updated. Create content, target audience in mind. Just build teh content for users, not search engines. Search engines will honor it.
 
There is a numerous SEO techniques but all techniques may not work properly because updating of Google panda and penguin. So you have to try hard and soul now. I recommend you to proper write up good content in you website at the same time you can write article for others website as a guest poster.
 
Hmm, ya maybe writing in others' websites and adding own link is also a good way to optimize one's own website. I guess at the same time, when you keep adding links to other websites, your website's pr will probably increase, which will also attract others to come to your site and write something.
 
The key to search engine may be good marketing strategy and offering something useful for others to read and get help. If many people like what you are offering then get people through search engine will be improve.
 
It's a good news so you're to maintain your ranking. you should write up good content and at the same time build backlinks from quality sites in your niche.
