The board area is definitely "lacking" some style. 😛 But other things to note include the grey menu, which could easily, but doesn't fit the color scheme. You could play around more with grey in the board area. That may make everything fit.

However, if you don't own the theme, do you have editing rights?

He said that it's under the GPL theme, but I don't think you're allowed to edit themes without permission.

Upon viewing the theme license on the original authors website before i downloaded the theme It Reads

"License styles StylerBB.net
All styles located in the Download section StylerBB.net service is free, you can modify them as you like, without restriction - the only element that can not be compromised is the author's foot, which is located at the bottom of each style.
Style authors spleen, icicle were taken together with the service team programosy.pl.
Shoe should have the following nature:
"Created by [link to http://www.stylerbb.net] & [link to http://www.programosy.pl with the attribute rel = "nofollow"] "- (for the styles of authors: spleen, Duncan)
"Created by [link to http://www.stylerbb.net]. [link to http://www.programosy.pl with the attribute rel = "nofollow"] "- (for the styles of other authors)
StylerBB.net commitment to update the styles over the published version of the script and place current phpBB version in the Download section as soon as possible.
Help for problems with styles StylerBB.net service offering to its discussion.
StylerBB.net service refuses to help in the event of non-compliance of the shoe style.

You can view the license Here: http://stylerbb.net/download.php?module=inform&id=108 Which is In polish and was translated by google translate.

Ah. Well, if that's the case, I think you can work on customizing the forums area. It looks too similar to the default there. 🙂 I would consider more colors to develop a sophisticated color scheme. And definitely work on the fonts. 🙂

Agreed with Rick. While it is a nice theme, it doesn't say anything about your forum. It isn't customized to your forum, so to speak. It needs to have a little character.

There is definitely a lot of simple things you can do to make the theme "yours" in some sense. Your banner could use a little work, but so can a lot of other peoples' as well. The forum icons are the biggest thing that people always forget about. You can make simple ones such as two letters, for example FP, and make two different color tones to go with read and unread. Also, you can always add in some sort of background instead of the bland white color which is very basic.

It is a nice style, very basic, but a great beginning to work with.

A VERY light grey background would look really nice.

Other than that, I love the simplicity.

There's just too must whitespace. It's not necessarily bad, but you might want to bring the items a bit closer together.
It appears you are using plain text for the logo. Well, that does the job, but does not look very professional. Try creating a better logo.
