How can I increase my traffic?

I've been using Google Analytics since starting my blog & domain & wordpress software (6/22).

I've noticed that for the past 3 - 4 days my traffics been about 20 - 25 unique visitors per day.

What can I do to increase my traffic.

I'm referring to the blog link in my signature.

Try LinkExchange-services, add ur blog into those top-directories (google it maybe)...
Advertise on different forums.

Link exchange is the route i went down,also get yourself a sig advertising your site and make sure its on your profile...all helps

Thanks for this tip. I just made a twitter account and added everyone on the list. I got now over 500 that I'm following and I've got about 65 followers right now.

And I just got finished doing it and I'm going to continue experimenting with this. I'll just let new members add themselves at this point now that I have over 500.

Like's already been said advertise like mad. Aim to post upwards of 5 per day if you'r serious about it. 🙂

I have a mate who has a blog, during the World Cup he had 2500 hits in one day just for adding "World Cup" to his keywords, so my tip would be make sure your keywords are up to date and relevant to your blogs.

Also join nonn related forums with a large member base, and ask admin if it's ok to promote your blog in your siggie, most wont mind if it's unrelated

Your blog traffic is quite low at the moment, so if I was you I wouldn't be worried about ad revenue until you are much busier, maybe when you are getting 1,000 uniques per day. The reason I say that is because those text link ads in your posts, will annoy your visitors and do your site more harm than good. If you want your blog to become popular remove those link ads.

Then do the other things suggested in this thread. Keep adding quality content / posts that will be of interest to your target readers and build links back to the blog, using your keywords as anchor text.

If you want unique visitors then you need good content. The more unique the better. Once your site is SEO'd, Google will do the rest.
