How come the UK keyboards have £ & $, and the US only has $? xD Isn't that a bit counter intuitive?

Probably because people from the US use £ a lot less then English people use $. 😛

Or maybe because the exchange rates are so bad we're better off burning our money than buying from the UK? 😛

LMAO.
Actually, you get more Euros out of a US dollar. xD

Yeah, dollar isn't worth anything. So much more expensive to buy stuff in Europe than the US, if you live in Poland for example you can buy a plane ticket to the states, buy a mid-high priced laptop, and fly back and pay the same price as a new laptop in Poland 😛.

Silly bitter America haters, bet you guys aren't any more considerate of others than us.

Don't blame us, blame our over-controlling government that gives my generation no rights. XD

Um, isn't it enough logical? UK and EU residents use £ whereas US uses $. Also, most currencies are converted to USD for International Trade.

No, what I'm saying is, the UK keyboards have £ and $ on their keyboards whereas we just have $.

The dollar is the worlds standard. And if another country takes over that... it will replace the $ on europeon keyboards and probably appear on the american keyboards as well.

It's because the average American doesn't have any use for such a key. Being as the USA is such a massive land area and our currency stretches the entire thing, you never need to touch another currency. The UK and EU in general deals a lot with different currencies, and since you guys so a lot of business with us you're expected to adapt to our currency.

Also, the way I like to think of it, we're sticking it to our old man 😛

Exactly.

No not exactly. The US dollar is the worldwide currency standard. The average US citizen also purchases most online items internally rather than internationally. Why have a symbol on a keyboard that statistically wont get much use? Most items here from other countries come through distributors located here in the US.

If anything there should be the chinese symbol on a keyboard because that's where everything is made anyways.
