This is food for thought I heard from a kid in the supermarket. Grocery plastic bags are now prohibited in supermarkets in some cities here. It’s back to the heydays of the brown paper bag. But for meat and fish, it is still the good old plastic bag. And food items in the racks are wrapped in plastic particularly candies and chocolates. So how would we survive now if there will be no plastic?

Sounds like an interesting question. Well, at least we know there was less pollution probably.

Paper bags or way back in history just carrying it in woven baskets (seen the movie Aladdin 😛 )

Buy a shopping trolley, not the supermarket kind. I haven't used mine in a while but it has come in very handy in the past. Lots of people use them here.

maybe you do not know, the old chinese used paper to pack raw food, in some southeast asian countries they use banana leaves to pack food. So why do not people use paper bags to pack food right now?, it is easy to destroy and does not pollute the environment
