Here was my journey:
Well i joined swapitshop.com as i saw it advertised in a magizine.
Then i was searching for codes and found SwapitShopForum.net. In the 'Link Heaven' section loads of people were making forums so i decided to make one my self. I was really crap at advertising. This is because i only advertised at that forum. Then i got told to advertise here. So i did. And that is how i starting getting into forums.

I was joining a lot of forums and I had some spare time when I was having a gap year, so I started developing forums. -happy- Kills lots of time.

Ages..... Ago I started glitching and such, And stumbled upon some great websites. Mainly vbulletin ones, So then I started making my own websites with forums. And now I run a nicely made website.

That is proud to be sponsored by ForumPromotion -D-

I was a member of a friends forum called rant forum and that got me into forums. Been on forums over a year now -D-

I've been posting on forums for the last 3 years... never found anything better to do.

Posting on forums is the best thing to do in life? -lol- -lol-

No! But I only go on three websites to be honest. (Well Forums) My website FP and fa.

I was a member at the Nintendo Forums, and I found it because I was searching google one day. I mean the offical Nintendo Forums, which are now closed. I had just over 1,000 posts on there, enough to have a signature (those were the days, you had to earn things) and then they went and closed -evil-

I was bored one day and stumbled on InvisionFree. At that time I was a member of several different forums, and I thought "Whoa, I can create my own forum!?!" and that's how it all started.

Same here. Joined NSider back in early 2006, and made my own forum in early 2007.

Ghost, what was your name on there?

Lets see...

It all started when I signed up for a Warhammer 40k forum on FreeForums. ~wink~

Well. I joined Chessraly forums, and there I found GetForum. So I created forums and now I'm totally involved in forums, :twistedman:

Oo I love this question! I started getting into forums when I was about 14 years old. My best friend at the time showed me a website her sister used to go on (it was an all girls website) that had a forum attached to it and so I registered that was the first forum I ever went on and it was the only forum I went on for years.

It began in the summer of 2004 with the Game Maker Showcase, an unofficial forum to do with Game Maker help and support. The rest is history 🙂

I needed help with something (forgot), but my English was very lacking at the time, so people would often bully me over that.
But I decided to stay, see how others talk, and learn from that.

My ex found a tomb raider forum which I signed up to and it went from there.
