Hello Webmasters!

We all start from somewhere especially SEO. Most of us were clueless at the start that you have to apply search engine optimization techniques to improve our websites' visibility on search engines.

So how and where did you learn search engine optimization for your sites? Was it effective?

I would like to know how you learned your techniques. 🙂

Still learning today! never stop learning LOL

No real way in particular, knowledge just flows in and accumulates. Sometimes it gets buried, or goes obsolete, sometimes not.

Part of it is trying to predict what the big G will do next, one reason I've doubled down on all the microdata stuff, there are other reasons too, of course. And despite appearances, Google is not omniscient, it does copy it's competitors from time to time, so innovation in one search engine can very likely spread to Google as-well.

If I recall, the replies to questions, etc. was copied from DuckDuckGo.

I've learned it from a specific blog, it enlightens me that SEO is actionable, easy and DIY SEO is more reliable and fruitful than paying/subscribing to SEO services. After that, I've studied and kept reading more about SEO until now.

It's all thanks to that specific blog which I regret that I forgot its URL. Without encountering that blog my perception to SEO will always be expensive, complex, and impossible for me.

I was self-taught when it comes to do with anything online. I knew where to go to if I needed help though. Forums, blogs, etc.
