How do I close a wordpress site?

I want to completely close/delete my WordPress site/blog.
I want to know how do I go about doing that? I'm using wordpress.org on a free host.

Go to tools and there is a bit where you click to delete site

I went to tools but didn't see a "delete site" option.

2. If you're sure you want to permanently delete your site, here's how to do it.
3. Step 1 – Visit your site's settings page by clicking on My Site (s) → Manage → Settings.
4. Step 2 – Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page, and select Delete your sitepermanently.
