I want to fix it so that my forum visitors can automatically login on every visit, such as they can just visit my forum and be logged in. Is that possible? I've noticed on some forums that I visit, I have to login and that can be a little annoying. Please give suggestions for fixing this.

Default log-in forms usually have this option by default, no? In phpBB you see the option to check "log me in automatically each visit" box, in other software perhaps a "stay logged in" box, or "always logged in" box, or whatever else along the line. As far as I know, that is the only option you have to make yourself logged in automatically each time you visit a website/forum.

You have missed one vital piece of information Beverly. What forum software are you using? This is necessary for us to be able to help you fix what needs to be fixed, if anything.

I think most of the forums here have automatic logins at every visit if you remember the login and password in your current browser. This helps you to save time for login when you open a forum that you have already visited before.

AFAIK, as admin of your Forum you can't force a user to "automatically log-in" on every visit unless they check "log me in automatically each visit" box their own!

OTOH, even if it's doable why would want to do that?
