How do I get my site/blog indexed by search engines?

Now I know I'm using a free host so that might be affecting things, but my site/blog has not yet been indexed.

I launched it on the 14 of February, and I have 6 posts altogether. I've tried searching for my site (by searching for the url) and no results come up. (other than the one thread I created here giving out the url)

What do I need to do so I can get my blog or site indexed the the search engines (google, yahoo, bing)?

it's an place for you to check if it is index! it won't add it to the index. You have to do most of the work.

Do you have sitemap setup

On my wordpress site, I have Yoast SEO installed. It does seem to have a sitemap setting, which I have enabled.

That ought to do it. Next time Google finds your site, it will index the pages in the site map.

I have found pingfarm.com to be very effective.

Also, have content worth indexing.

You have to optimize your website - so work on your tags, titles and images. Create lots of unique, original content that could be considered objectively valuable. Speed up your pages to make them as fast as possible, and create a site map for your site. Also make sure you advertise using something like Facebook - social signals count a great deal towards your search engine ranking.
