How do I make my phone work faster?

What do you do to clear up space on your phone and make it work faster?

Lately my phone that I've had for 3 and half years has gotten laggy. I've used the "smart cleaning" app on it and that only seems to get me so far. Is there an app I can use that will help?

How do I do that?

Hold the power and volume up buttons until you see the little android icon, release the buttons and it should enter a menu. Use the volume buttons to scroll up and down, select "Wipe Cache Partition" use the power button to select, scroll down to "yes" on the next screen and press the power button again, this should take you back to the menu but the partition should now be wiped. Scroll down the menu to reboot the phone and you should see some improvement.

...now that's a feature I wasn't aware existed...lol.

Sorry, I'm totally wrong @Wessel Do a shut down first and THEN hold power and volume up!

Don't run everything that you do not need to run and also ad more space 😛

Make sure you are regularly closing down apps, not just minimising them.

I ended going into settings and went from app to app clearing the cache or wiping the data. It helped.

You can clear application data. They take up lots of space in the background. That would help for sure.

I think getting a new SD card is advisable. A bigger one with enough memory space. I don't know about any other way to go about it.
