How do you deal with spammers? do you ban them delete them block them or do something else?

I just completely delete there accounts, that's just my personal preference 😛

I would preferably delete them though blocking or providing warnings is a more prioritized option for me for the first few times.

Delete them all.
I am wondering the definition of the spammers?!

Spam:

Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages, especially advertising, indiscriminately. While the most widely recognized form of spam is e-mail spam, the term is applied to similar abuses in other media: instant messaging spam, Usenet newsgroup spam, Web search engine spam, spam in blogs, wiki spam, online classified ads spam, mobile phone messaging spam, Internet forum spam, junk fax transmissions, social networking spam, social spam, television advertising and file sharing network spam. It is named for Spam, a luncheon meat, by way of a Monty Python sketch in which Spam is included in almost every dish.
Spamming remains economically viable because advertisers have no operating costs beyond the management of their mailing lists, and it is difficult to hold senders accountable for their mass mailings. Because the barrier to entry is so low, spammers are numerous, and the volume of unsolicited mail has become very high. In the year 2011, the estimated figure for spam messages is around seven trillion. The costs, such as lost productivity and fraud, are borne by the public and by Internet service providers, which have been forced to add extra capacity to cope with the deluge. Spamming has been the subject of legislation in many jurisdictions.[1]
A person who creates electronic spam is called a spammer.[2]

I ban them.

I've heard an interesting thing to do is to put them in the banned group, and make the group only access a forum called "Super secret board" or something similar, which tricks them into thinking they have now been granted the best part of the forum, but it's just for the banned...

It is essential to keep a watch on the forum on a regular basis in order to keep away from spam. Preferably you can ask people to fill out a cache for every forum post in order to prevent the spamming done by bots. Monitoring the forum on a regular basis might be difficult, however it is important to maintain the quality of the forum.

I don't; spammers deal with me.

srs rply: I have a lot of settings that make it nigh impossible for a spammer to get in to begin with, so.

Well no point of keeping spam accounts so deleting is the only thing can be done.

Fortunately I don't have spam bot problems anymore (I use SMF and myBB). but still there are no choice but manually check and delete those human spammers.
