I feel online dating is a good idea but sometimes dangerous for both parties

It is usually not good as some people only pretend to be what they are not online, you only see their real character when you meet in person.

You have to really do your research & meet in a public place.

I have a good attitude about online dating and also I have such experience! So, for me it is something normally when people are searching a partner for one night, I started to practice such way of "relationship" after my ex-girlfriend cheated on me, after that I understood that I don't need a relationship at the moment. Many people are now looking for options to find partners online and I was also of part of them. There are so many hookup site opened every day that it has become impossible or even extremely difficult for someone who doesn't know what he/she is searching for to choose the right hookup sites.

Well, I agree. Dating sites give us more possibilities as we can find a partner in any city or even country. Though when I was single I preferred looking for free girls near me because it was easier to meet them in real life. By the way, I met my wife on eHarmony, so from my own experience I can say that online dating is worth trying.

Same. I've mostly had good experiences. It works. I've never had trouble getting a date or meeting people.

I'm not very fond of it because you're dealing with who knows who behind a screen and it's even hard to make a match and get a response most of the time. I'd rather date someone I know IRL beforehand than someone behind a screen.

I prefer the old fashion way of meeting dates.. You bump into a person you like, try to make friends and ask the person out for a date. Online dating makes it too easy and I love challenges.

Most online datings are purely infatuation. And it loses excitement when it moves offline.

I am married with children to someone whom I originally met online, so I'd say it can work. 😛

If I weren't married, I wouldn't use a dating site at all. I'd probably just get to know people through forums and talking online for a while. See how crazy they are first LOL

As far as I'm concerned, online dating isn't worth it now in our modern time. Maybe some years ago, let's say 10 to 20 years ago, it would have worked out well to date online and probably get married. But now, it's all gold diggers and clout chaser who are looking for who to take up their finances.
