As someone that has a lot of PTSD related stuff I find music really helps.

I manage stress from work by playing a musical instrument. I can lay slow rock and bass. Sometimes I dance TikTok.

I am stressed about 90% of the time. I work best stressed usually. I make sure to debrief with coworkers and/or my husband. I try and talk about it because dear goodness there is too much on our plates as special education teachers.

Honestly I have turned to forums again to help escape from the stress which has been helping.

I pick up a guitar or sit at the piano. If I'm really stressed or angry, which is a rare occurrence, I'll take it out on my drum kit and regret not wearing ear defenders afterwards.

What helps me is to unplug throughout the day. While it’s great to have tech, it can also be a source of stress. We need to unwind. We live on wooded acreage so I’m fortunate all I have to do is go out my door & spend time in nature. It helps relax me as well as recharge me.

Stress by seeing and hearing other people stressing around you can not help

Often deep breathing can help me relieve stress. Just some relaxation time, in general, can too help!

I manage stress by not obsessing about the issue anymore.
I'm trying this more and more all the time. I used to have real bad insomnia as my brain wouldn't shut off even from the smallest thoughts. If I didn't do something to my 100% for example I would have trouble sleeping because I would think of the other options I could try. While it's good to think of the other options it's not a good idea to be thinking at 1am...

I'm still trying to figure this one out. The stress is winning at the moment.

I am not someone who handles stress very well at all, unfortunately. Due to this, I tend to suffer from a lot of acute migraines when I get stressed and that never helps me and can often make days hard to focus on anything.

I tend to try and stay away from stress but stress is a part of life no matter how much you try to avoid it so I just do my best to try and stay as calm as I can even in stressful times.

Alcohol consumption helps me with my stress more often than not. That’s something I need to work on.

That is not the answer, the problem will be there when you wake up, My wife is the answer for me, we deal with stress together.
It works.

No doubt about that, just easier said than done at times. It’s a temporary relief that I certainly need to grow out of.

Having been on that road many times, I've learned the hard way.
Take it from someone older (oh I'm only 29)
