How do you keep people from stealing your content?

I am thinking about selling some of my articles and ebooks (as downloadables) and would like to know how to keep people from buying and reselling this content or stealing it off of a download page. Sometimes people share the download link with friends after a purchase. I'm looking for some type of Wordpress plug in or site that would lock content except to those who have made a purchase or maybe even a plugin that makes it so that links expire after a certain time.

I think you can restrict this if you get any options like a one time or a two times download for your articles to prevent duplicity.

Well, if you find any instances of people copying it onto their site, there's the obvious option of using a DMCA notice to get it forcibly taken down 😉
