How do you like your steak?

I usually get it well done, a little bit of sauce with a fresh sliced tomato and lettuce.

It's definitely a lot more affordable when you just buy the meat and grill it at home. Sometimes it's nice to be able to just sit down and have someone else prepare your meal though. 🙂

I order well done because usually even if I order Medium Well (How I like it) there is too much pink so I rather it just be well done and have a little bit of pink than have too much pink for my liking. 😛

Have you tried to order a medium well steak but let is sit a while before cutting into it? Most steak restaurants I go to the waiter or waitress usually asks for you to cut the steak to see if it's how you like it. If you don't they are happy to bring it back to the grill. Steak is too expensive to not get what you want.

I just rather order well done and it comes out closer to what I like. I hate cutting into it and sending it back for one that takes up too much time and 2 that is too much of an ordeal that it needs to be lol.

I've never specified how I want it. Mine always comes without pinky parts, and I like it that way. I guess it's well done, then?

I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't really like steak. Whenever I eat it, I always get it medium, because well done gives it no flavor, and rare isn't actually cooked. 😛

Well done, but only if my dad is the one preparing it.

Does he make them really well? Or have you had a bad experience with someone else cooking your steak?

He's the only one who knows how to make them taste like heaven. Everyone else either prepares them too dry or they don't use the same quality of meat like the one my dad gets.

I imagine it's difficult to have someone else make your steak when you know someone who can make it just the way you like it. 🙂 You should learn how your Dad does it so you can make for yourself or other people like he does. 😉

I like mine medium rare. If you cook it any other way, you're not getting any flavor at all as you're supposed to.

Well done. It's how I was raised, pretty much. My parents eat well done, so I eat well done too. xD

I guess that is a good reason to eat well done. Personally, I took every opportunity to eat stuff that was cooked differently, as often as I could, even when parents objected.

Yeah, haha. I actually eat a lot of spicy food, and they don't, so that's where I kinda differ from them. There's probably other ways too, but that's the main thing I can think of. I'd probably try a non-well done steak (and have most likely eaten non-well done steak since it's kinda hard to achieve that doneness anyways, or so I hear), but it seems kinda weird, I guess, to eat something that's still a little red inside. I dunno, it's probably just me. No judgement towards people that eat non-well done steaks, haha.
