How do you make logo's?

How do you make the image for your logo's or your signatures. I'm not talking about the over all image/logo I mean a picture that represents your forum.

I'm using gimp and trying to make logo's but I have no idea on how to make pictures for logo's

Just use different shapes, try putting them together, rotating and think of something original. (I think this is what you're talking about 😛)

I'm using Photoshop in making the signatures. You can do many things if you know a bit of photoshop.

What exactly do you mean? Are you having trouble with inspiration or the technical aspect of logo creation? I'm having some trouble understanding exactly what's tripping you up.

Try to make a logo up with words. Maybe connect them or add designs too them

I use Photoshop CS5. Best there is on the Internet.

Also, a logo doesn't necessarily have to be anything complicated. It could also just be text, in a font that you feel best represents your site.

I think the best way to relate a sig or avatar to your site is to use not only the same or similar font but, to use the same type of images or shapes. So your sig and site will at least be similar.
