How do you prefer to view Forum Promotion (Color)?

I usually do light (for viewing FP) - but most of my forums are dark. Anyway, I am wondering what percentage of viewers use the default forum, not speaking of the one coming with XenForo, but the UIX one made default - or use the dark one?

Anyhow, do you usually add choices on your forums - regarding the visuals?

I'm using UI.X Pro and normally don't choose dark styles because it's more stress on my eyes.

I’m very much the opposite. I didn’t think much of the light theme when it was released. Yet love the dark theme. So use that.

The dark theme just has lots of grey, and not much colour

The lighter theme at least has the blue to break it up a bit.. The dark theme ought to keep the blue and the page background from the light theme, and just change the content areas colours.

I wonder if it's my astigmatism that makes it more stressful for me? In a way it's like being in a dark room and having to have your eyes work harder to see the light? I was always told to read or do any type of craft with full light and not by a dim light because it hurts the eyes so that might be the reason for me??

I prefer to view FP and everything else in a Light-Theme. Dark-Themes do not sit well with my Eyes and I simply don't like the Colours of Dark-Themes. Hell, I even use Light-Themes when Programming.

I can't stand white text on black. Now that I put grey on black, assuming also it's bigger (font-size), it's so much easier to read.

Stark white isn't very good either. My laptop has some eye strain reliever and it reduces the brilliancy of everything so my whites are pretty dull kind of getting into a gray family really.

I am using the default light / blue theme. I haven't even tried out the other themes, but maybe I'll give it a go.

I've been using the light style since it was released. I've never been a big fan of dark styles, but I'm glad it's an option for members of this community. This topic has prompted me to use the dark style for at least a few minutes though. 😛
