How do you reward staff?

Some staff members work really hard to keep the forum spam free, while others barely ever show up. What do you think is a good reward for a staff member?

I always try to thank my staff verbally for all their effort and let them know how much their hard work means to me.

But, I worry it's not enough. How do you reward your staff?

My staff as a whole just feel rewarded to see the forum doing well and members being happy. Since we all pretty much started it together, we've never really been in it for some sort of materialistic reward. We just want somewhere nice to hang out and for others to do the same with us.

I just say thank you and appreciate their hard work as well. I think that's more than enough. Kind words and encouragement go a long way. 😛

This^^. I pretty much just appreciate them, and tell them thank you at-least once a week, even just through a PM for being a staff member and doing their jobs. I have awards that I give out as well, however I think saying "thanks" goes a long way.

I think the best way really is to just thank them as much and as often as you can.
