How do you switch hosts?

I'd like to know how do you successfully switch from one host to another?

Also, does anyone know if "post to/for host" hosting companies exist and if so, which ones are out there?

Check the hosting section - There's a fair few of us out there.

I'd like to know how do you successfully switch from one host to another?

Is there access to a MySQL DB? If so, take a backup of all files, and that DB, then copy the DB over to the new server, upload the files, and you'll be good to go.

Don't forget to change your nameservers to the new host, through your domain registrar.
