How do you track traffic?

Google analytics. You can see what keywords they searched and what websites they come from.

Many guys say google analytics, but I installed and no data showing there.. any simple tools that can check the numbers of visitor

AWStats by chance? I think mine has that as well but I don't like the interface (hard to interpret) and not enough statistics for me, seems more basic.

I was using that before I learned earlier, and the hard way, that AWStats or similar server logging does not do what Google Analytics does. It's not widely trusted.

Google Analytics is the way to go.

Google Analytics is the way to go.

I've found AWStats to be dreadfully inaccurate. Google Analytics is probably the industry standard - coupled with SEMRush you can build a really good idea of your SEO Strategy and traffic channels/keywords

On forums a typical question posed "How did you find us" works: Even better, a drop-down selector on signup

Google Adsense also tells you traffic and whatnot as basic information on the amount of traffic and whatnot from the ads. That can help also.
