There are lots of really good ways you can make it easier for your members to login, including integrated Facebook login or allowing social networks to be connected to your forum. And, some forum software allow you to set it so that cookies last forever (allowing the member to stay logged in constantly everytime they visit your site). Not to mention services such as Tapatalk that make it easy for mobile users to easily connect to your forum and post as they want.

All these methods are a great way to encourage members to stay logged in and active, so all they have to do is show up and post, rather than taking the time to enter login details.

Are there any other methods that would make it even easier to not just stay logged in at your forum but also active? If you have found any and currently use those methods on your forum, please discuss them here.

I remember using this code that the login box would pop up in front while the rest of the forum dimmed, and you could log in that way. I forget where I got it from nowadays, but I'm pretty sure it was JQuery. I thought it had a pretty cool effect.
