Ok so you might know when I was a very active member on a teen forum I made a friend called David who now I know very well and have met etc. etc., if you didn't know that there you are.

Well I just found out that my school is playing the team that he used to be part of for his school... isn't that odd? Made me think about how everything connects in different ways and that there really is such thing as coincidence. It's also pretty odd how close we live to each other seeing as it's just a random person off the net.

So anyway, the point of this thread -- the world connects everything together and everything connects somehow. Have you had any experience with anything like this? Have you ever met someone off the Internet that you know irl, lives close to you or has something which connects you to them?

That's mad 😛.
I have no friends that do/make websites. I wish i had though 🙁.

It happens to me all the time.....recently I had a friend recommend a man for a tattoo so I met with him to discuss design etc, when he came back in for the work he told me that I knew his daughter, his daughter and my daughter were best friends. Another girl I've been tattooing for over a year now told me last week her mum's name...turns out, her mum's sister used to bully me at school

I went to northern France in high school and while I was there I bumped into a girl who was in my class in middle school. 🙂

You have heard of the Six Degrees Of Separation right?

Six degrees of separation (also referred to as the "Human Web") refers to the idea that everyone is at most six steps away from any other person on Earth, so that a chain of, "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in six steps or fewer.

I've heard of the six degrees of separation, it's really interesting actually 🙂 One big community, yes Cameron.

Have you ever heard of "quantum entanglement"? That is once sub-atomic particles come into contact with each other they become "entangled" and forever remember the state of the other particle no matter how it changes or the distance apart the two particles are (this has been proven by experiment). Since the universe began (alledgely) very small and made of quantum particles, it's safe to say that pretty much everything is connected in one way or another....

Just my two cents worth. 🙂
