How fancy do you wrap gifts?

How fancy do you get when it's time to wrap a gift for someone? My sister-in-law used to go to extreme in making packages look like they were worth a million bucks. Me? Well, I was lucky the tape didn't stick to the paper before I was ready to adhere it. LOL This year I crocheted some bags to put gifts in so that was a lot easier.

I don't go for that picture perfect look, specially since it will be destroyed anyway.

gift wrap with ribbon, I just have gold ribbon that I rap around with a nice tire effect

I'm okay at wrapping gifts but I don't go out of my way to make them look really fancy.

My hubby is actually better at wrapping presents than I am.

I love wrapping presents and prefer to put in the work of using gift wrapping instead of giftbags that a lot of people like to do (which I totally don't mind because I love recycling those and use them for when I give gifts as well.

I don't get too fancy though.

I remember a friend saying that she knew someone who had gift wrapping as a side hustle and she charges $5 per gift! She just needs to wrap 20 presents and she earns $100! Of course, I don't know if she supplies the gift wrapper and all of that but I thought that was pretty amazing. I may have to pick up that side hustle!

That's a really good deal your friend has going!

I used to work at a department store when I was in high school and they hired a gift wrapper who would get huge tips! I was so jealous.
