How good are you at parallel parking?

I'm driving to the city to have dinner with my daughter tonight and I'm dreading the parking situation!! The last time two times I was there at her apartment, I lucked out by finding a spot nearby right away...but only one was available nearby each time! I worry I'll have to drive around for a long time just to find something my vehicle can fit in. I have a SUV and the wheels don't turn as sharply like a car's wheels do, so it's a struggle.

I avoid it whenever I can lol I don't drive much & rarely into a city. I park further away if need be.
How did it go?

I can parallel park into spaces that a lot of drivers can't get out of but I've had nearly 50 years experience so I've had plenty of practice.

I had to come back and write...I drove to the city to go to my daughter's apartment for dinner. There was NOOOOO parking to be found. She assured me there would be plenty. Luckily she was at the park when we called her with her dog and she hopped in my car and drove it to some of her spots in the neighborhood where she normally can find a good spot. AND she found one but it's one I would have been uncomfortable trying to parallel park in. She did a great job. But then again, she does it a few times a day.

I can barely parallel park my Hyundai Elantra, so I can't imagine trying to parallel park in anything bigger. 😛
