Cold start, with variable cloud, brighter spells, and a few isolated snow showers. Thickening cloud spreads southeast during the afternoon, with further outbreaks of snow, although these gradually easing. However some slight accumulations are possible, mainly across the Peak District. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

It's very cold and even snowing. I want to go to warm islands
Showery rain, sleet and snow will push eastwards this afternoon, clearing from the west during the mid to late afternoon to leave it mainly dry with late brightness. Feeling colder.
