How large is your family and extended family?

I am the 5th of 7 children, and I currently have 5 nieces, 1 nephew, and 1 niece on the way. 🙂

On my dad's side, he has 3 brothers, 1 sister. The aunt I think only had 1 child, and is in his mid-30's I think. I don't believe I have actually met him in person, but I know what he sounds like. Two of the 3 brothers of my dad has 2 or 3 children each, which I have met them, and they are around my age, while my last uncle on that side never tried to get children. Oh, and my grandmother and grandfather (my dad's parents) are both dead (health and age related). So I believe I have 6 1st cousins on my dad's side. I don't know anything about second or third cousins on my dad's side, due to everyone in my dad's family not wanting to make contact with us for some strange reason.

On my mother's side, she has something like 8 or 9 brothers and sisters, and each of them has around the same amount of children each. And I also believe that my grandparents also had large families also, which makes the amount of first, second, and third cousins in the pretty large amount. I would say that most of my first cousins have children of their own, which makes the children 1st cousins once removed (which will make my nieces and nephews second cousins to my 1st cousins children).

Smallish family, pretty much only child, I've got like 4 aunts on my dads side and they might have kids or not dunno don't know if I ever met them.

My family isnt that big. It's been shrinking lately because people have been passing away. Rough times over here.

Anyway, seems everyone in my family has 1 or 2 kids (or none).

Then there`s my dad`s mom (my nana), and my dad`s brother, my uncle. On my moms side, I have my moms dad (my grandad). I have no cousins (at least not 1st cousins 😛).

I could then go on to list my grandparents brothers and sisters, their kids, and so on. And my step mom`s family. But I`m not going to. 😛

I have one older brother and then there are my parents. I have a couple grandparents on my mom's side, only on my mom's side as the grandparent's on my dad's side have passed on. I have a lot of first cousins and second cousins because my dad has a lot of brothers and sisters. I rarely see my cousins on my dad's side of the family though, as there is a lot of conflict in that side of my family. I love them to death though, a couple of my younger second cousins consider me an uncle even though technically, I'm not an uncle to them. I also have a couple cousins on my mom's side of the family. They're brats, but I love them as well of course.
