How long can you go before you have to raise funds to start paying for your forums hosting bill?

I mean can you manage to cover your hosting bill your self by using pocket money, wages etc?

I sold some stuff on ebay not long ago and i made enough for around 5 months.

Just for online stuff, I think I have enough money in my PayPal to go the next 3 years or so.

If I wouldn't spend my current extra funds and prices didn't change, at least another 20 years.

I'm about to get Widespread on a Paid Plan from Hawk Host and would have enough once I do that to pay for a full year. Of course I'd get the money to pay for the next year within a month or two. (I don't take money from my pay check and spend it on my blog, I get my funds via other methods.)

I'll also have enough for the domain, widespread.in soon. That will cost me $21. Probably going to verify my PayPal soon. 😛

Well as long as I have a job then I suppose I can support my forum. If I lost my job; I would lose my house, phone, and all sorts of other things including paying a hosting bill for my forum.

However, the last time I renewed my hosting for the year, I paid the bill with money I earned through selling my old domain names.

I think that's how it is with most people, isn't it? As long as you still have your job and are able to keep a steady balance with your PayPal, you shouldn't have any problems. but if you're like me and living from paycheck to paycheck, then you probably couldn't go on for very long, even if you mean to. That's why I like free advanced hosting sites so much if I have to use advanced hosting, which I'm currently doing.

It only costs me posts or a dollar or so for my web hosting. Everything else is free.

I don't mind paying out of my pocket for as long as it takes for the ZGN to start making profit
