How long does it take for your host to reply to support tickets?

How long does it take for your host to reply to support tickets?

My host usually takes 15 minutes to reply to my support tickets although sometimes quicker. Their live chat is always online so I can go there if I need help.
 
I normally use hosts that are not as well maintenance because they are not large in size both in terms of clients and staff, hence my wait is normally a little bit longer, around 5 hours or so.
 
I have around an hour wait time since we're kinda low on staff atm, But Live chat is online mostly so it's helpful.
 
I believe anything longer than an hour is too long. What if you're website is down and you can't figure out why? I imagine that would be extremely frustrating to not being able to resolve an issue within the hour.
 
Within the hour; all of my support is done through Skype so I usually don't have to wait too long to get the ball rolling on my support request.
 
We usually make the most within the ticket queue. We work on the process of first in first out, and it usually takes a average of 10 minutes to clear up the queue. Also we have emergency ticket systems where we reply within the next couple of minutes.
 
My favorite hosting company is definitely HostGator. Their support replies very quickly through their Live Chat system and all of the phone calls I've had with them have gone well too. I have tried out a few other hosts as well and have not experienced the same level of expertise. It also helps that HostGator has very fast load speeds for people living in pretty much any part of America.

The most I've waited for a HostGator customer service response is around 8-10 minutes.
 
It would depend on the case/issue but I think hosting providers don't really give a time frame for this to be on the safe side.
 
It seems my host are full of robots as as soon as I submit a ticket they reply. :lol:
 
It depends but my current hosting responds in few minutes often with full solution. The hosting service I am using is 4Goodhosting. Their support is real 24 hours online and I can say that I haven't faced any issues. Their hosting service is exceptional and my sites runs without any downtime. Speed and reliability is outstanding. Very satisfied with these guys so far.
 
If there is minimum downtime then that is great as well as you get faster replies. If a downtime happens and heaps of clients submit tickets it'll be a longer wait.
 
Mine replies as soon as possible but the times do vary.
 
Within 15 minute or sometimes take hours.

Tech/General support is fast but when I open a ticket in billing department then they take lot of time to resolve my issue.
 
Once it was once every 15 minutes now it's once every 25 hours? Like it's a sign they don't want to bother with me anymore.
 
I think it depends on the nature of the question. If it's a simple request, then the support ticket should be answered promptly. But if it's something complex that requires investigation, it might take a bit longer.

Nevertheless, you should get a response relatively quick stating the status (like someone is looking into it, etc)
