The only 60 second videos I have made recently have been video game related and they have been for reels on Facebook, shorts on YouTube and TikTok videos and I would say it can take anything from 10 - 20 minutes to create and post unless I run into issues in which case it may take a little longer.
It really depends on the content - For my cat and I? About 60 seconds, or maybe a few tries so let's say 3-5 minutes. For discussing something random like a hot take? Depends on the topic, but if it's something I'm comfortable with I'll usually be happy with 1-2 takes, but if it's something that's for a client at work then a 60 second video could be a lot more than that ...
Just to put it in perspective, I think we had at least 1 team meeting and multiple side meetings about a single 15 second Instagram reel and I'm sure we paid hundreds for the final animated reel. These types of things are for specific clients so they have fairly nice budgets for reels & shorts.
I guess my answer is: At work? days or weeks. At home? A few minutes.
I think the one that took the cake was having a team meeting about a famous actor meme-dancing in a GIF with a caption on it. We're talking like a 10 second GIF loop and countless hours of the designers/marketing experts/client talking about it... It's incredible how much time & money can be spent on just a few moments of your time in a news feed all for the chance at a % increase for CRO.
