How long can you be out in the sun before you start to burn? I'm at the 10-15 minute point and I can't wear normal sunscreen, I can only use the mineral kind with zinc oxide that makes you pasty white and it's really gooey and stinks.

Probably less than 15 minutes. I'm extremely pale complected.

It takes me awhile to burn, unless I am in a humid environment. Last time I was out in the sun for awhile, it took most of the day before I got a sunburn.

About 1.8 seconds. I don't tan at all, which sucks. My skin is so fair. I'll burn like a lobster then be pale white. lol

I'm not even in the sun long enough ;P But I have a story that I'm not going to type five hours of words about 😛

The long story too short: Young who did not understand, in the back garden with a swimming pool, having fun getting wet for hours on a hot sunny day. Hours later found out that my back was red as a paperback book, spent all night sleeping face down and my back full of wet paper towel and did not sleep. The next day Doctors said I had to do this and that for the next three days and soon part of the skin just came away.

SInce then I never got into that again.

Except when I was young, only time did I get sunburn was in March a couple of years back when we had higher than normal temps. I was outside longer than I usually am so wasn't able to get accustomed to it gradually. As long as I take my time to adjust, I can be out in it & be fine.
