How many categories?

How many categories does your forum have? Mine has 5. 4 that are the main ones but I also have a redirection service category.

I have a total of 5 categories in my Studio 4B forum, but 1 category is not seen to the public eye as it's for staff only. 😛

Until a forum grows fairly large (we're talking 300 members here), it's a good idea to keep the number of forums and categories to a minimum. Two is a nice number.

At least 20. But when you exclude the forums for the countries, it's just 4. 2 main ones, a shop...and an advertising area.

I currently have 4 categories on my clan forum. It all depends on what forum needs you will have and what topics you wish to cover, usability plays a big part with how easy and well laid out you wish your forum to be structured.
