How many forums do you own?

I have seen people that like to own a lot of forums and some that own one or a few. How many can you manage at once? I only own one, I can't deal with more than that 😛

I only own 1, owning any more than that would be way too much, especially since I'm staff on a lot of other forums as well.

I only own one and that seems to be enough for me. Full focus on one site/forum works best in my opinion.

I only own one forum, but I am staff on a couple other sites. Owning more than one would be too much to manage for me. 😛

I agree with you all. Managing more than one forum is really difficult. When I started to build forums, looking at other forums I thought it was easy, get some quality posts and members will come and start posting. But it went completely in a different way.

I started off with 2 forums. Without having members in my team, it was really difficult for me to configure, promote forums and keep checking regularly for spammers and moderating them.

I was not reaching any of the milestones I had set. After thinking a lot I decided to work with one forum and leave the second forum for some time. Once my first forum has team members to support and the activity of the forum is good then I would start off with the second forum.

The main challenge I am facing currently is promoting the forum, get members to be active and last but the least quality posts, as it is taking longer time than I expected.

I only own one forum at this moment. I don't plan on taking on more forums but I may work on other projects that are not forums.

I have only one forum, because I feel like I can only handle one thing right now. I have considered making another forum, but it will be a while until the whole consideration is put into effect.

I have 2forums and some closed forums for future projects.

Sometimes we are not happy with our forums and want to start new projects 🙂
