I had a forum named Tutorials4All but i closed it because no one was interested in it. But i want to open it again but before that i want to ask that how many of you would be interested in a tutorial forum and would like to join it?
I don't even remember that site. What exactly was it about the first time? I suppose if you had some articles worth reading and that people would actually find helpful it would work out, but I don't even remember the first site.
Forums do best when they establish a community of people who like to discuss things together and share advice. How will you achieve that on a tutorials forum?
Actually, I too like to figure out how things are done on my own. I do instructions as a last resort. Like if I'm really stumped on how something should be done or how something goes, then I turn to instructional tools, but aside from that I'm a hands-on person myself. I can see this site being a good thing for those who really can't do things on there own and learn best by reading instructions, but for those of us who like to screw around with things and see how they work for ourselves, then I probably wouldn't join a site like this. Or else I would come on and read tutorials as a guest if I were really stumped, but that's about it. Chances of me being an active member would be very slim.
