How many related forums are you posting on?

How many related niche forums do you have to post on daily/weekly (with your signature line) to actually generate new members and traffic? Do you think it's really worth the time you have invested in those forums? And, does all that work actually generate forum members weeks/months/years after you've done it? So maybe worthwhile in the long term, versus just short term.

I have been looking for graphics forums but no luck at all.. Those popular one does not allow us to put links..

This one and one other. There is a third that I go on every now and again to bump my advertisement.

I am active on several forum directories, and I think it is good on long term. One needs patience only on short term...
