How many surgeries have you had? Did you have a good or bad experience?

I've had multiple surgeries in my life, but the most major ones were for cancer. The biggest and longest hospital stay was for my tongue because I had cancer underneath it and part of my tongue had to be removed. I was in the hospital for a week and in the ICU for 3 days. I wasn't allowed to eat and they had a feeding tube going down to my stomach but I didn't get along well with that so at the last 24 hours I demanded they stop it and that I wasn't even hungry at that point. All the doctors, resident doctors and nurses were absolutely amazing. It was a humbling experience.

I've lost count, probably a lot more than ten, maybe less than twenty, most of which have proved to be rather distressing due to negligence or unexpected outcomes. I'll spare you the gory details 😵

Aren't nice to hear what others had to have done without an option or choice to go forward with any kind of surgery. I only had one major surgery, the condition that I have can be resolved with no surgery however it was so extreme that the professionals said that I had to go into surgery.

A condition that I have is called cholesteatoma. Yeah, it's a long name. Months on end seeing the doctor till they say that they booked me in for a long eight hours surgery that took so long that I was in ICU for over 34 hours and the recovery was so long. Getting it down was a brainer it's the long months of rrecoving is the shocking part.

Two that I can name. When I was 16, I had 13 plantars and 2 warts removed from right and left foot. I have scars on the bottom of my feet that nerve damage left over from how bad my warts got. When I was 18 I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed. I didn't have feel any soreness after the pain medication wore off.
