How many threads should an owner make on a daily basis?

I don't have a forum myself right now but I find making content after the initial launch can be easy, pumping out a ton of various threads. Usually after that things can get tricky, I know for me I have to do something to get the thoughts flowing.

In regard to how long the thread needs to be in the initial post, I don't think there's a one size fits all here either. Some places build up fine, cause we don't all love reading multiple paragraphs all the time.

My forum will be 2 months old on the 6th of May and it's small so I try and make 2 new posts a day. But I have missed some days. Today I started 3 new topics as a test to see how it goes and I will go from there.

I believe it varies for different community owners or leaders as to how often they post new threads and how many they post per day or even week.

I tend to post as many threads as I can think of ideas for so the number I post each week always varies.

It depends on your forum stats, if you have a lot of active members and less threads for posting, you can create a lot of thread son a daily basis

How many threads do you think an owner should make on a daily basis? 1-5? 5-10? More?

Personally, I try to start up as many threads as I can when I'm on and if I see that my community is making threads as well, then I try to make more to continue to flow of content.

So, how about you though? How many threads do you start on a daily basis as an owner?
As an owner, aim for 1-5 quality threads daily to maintain engagement without overwhelming your community. Adjust based on your community's activity levels.

The obvious answer would be, "as many as they can think of". But just be careful to ensure QUALITY threads designed to spark conversation, not just generic rubbish.

Based on the responses, the average seems to be around 3-5, which is how many I did when I had a forum.

When it's just me, I start posting a lot.

When I start getting members, I post daily (5 to 10) but not as many because I want to give new members a chance to post their own topics and also start going through existing topics.

I feel like posting too much when members are actually there could be overwhelming for them.

I think as an owner of a forum you should want to encourage your members and staff to post so I would say about 10-15 threads a day. However, they have to be meaningful and valuable posts not just game threads or "What are you doing right now" threads. The threads you create should encourage others to want to reply and discuss.

And though creating threads is very important I believe that also replying to the posts are also important. You want your members to feel like their voice is being heard and that you actually care about what they add to the forum. It will also encourage them to keep posting as well.
