How much CPU does your computer use when your anti-virus is scanning?

Mine uses quite a lot, from 30-70% cpu when its scanning.

Oh, never mind but what is the specs of your computer? I am using intel i3 and it uses below 10% always. I would also suggest for a RAM upgrade to release the CPU pressure.

Really? I use intel i7. I have 16GB of RAM so I doubt it is to do with RAM. I use Kaspersky Internet Security.
