How much did your PC cost?

There's budget and extremely priced laptops, how much did yours cost? You can give us some of the specs if you want too 😛

My parents bought me a HP Pavilion dv6-6b27nr which has 8GB of RAM, i7 CPU, FINGER PRINT READER 😛 (got to love those) ohh and it comes with a power cord.

Apparently, this costs $9,999 on Amazon, I think who ever is selling that is off their rocker. I think they got it for close to $1,500 on special, computers are quite expensive here.

How in the world would it cost $5k? I dont know the specs but you can pretty much max out HPs config on their site with their current coupon to less than $1500.

I think my current PC which I mainly use for basic tasks cost between 400-500 dollars in 2008. It is an HP a1720n desktop.

320 GB HDD.

18.5' Samsung LCD monitor.
1GB NVIDIA Graphics card.

$1,500 down from $10,000 is a bit too hard to believe...

In reply to the thread, my laptop cost £350 and I got it in 2009 for my birthday. I have since upgraded it though, spec-wise.

Till my birthday struck, my parents bought me it, but it got sent back because there was a problem with the LCD screen but we should get it back fixed, soon.
