My forum has a total of 11,050 posts with 333 members, and the domain expires in the middle of August. It's not very active, but it can definitely get active. It's an advertising/promotion forum. I'm just wondering... how much do you think I should sell it for if I want to sell it? I'm not very good with pricing.
Is it generating any revenue? I would price it at a $100 at most. I think you'll get about $80 for it though. It has a lot of potential to be a big well-known promotion forum.
When I visit the site it doesn't tell me anything about what it is. I think a theme overhaul would be required to make the site look more like a promotional forum and also to increase it's value. I'd have said $60 was good unless it's generating revenue however a theme could have a significant influence on the value. In fact you could probably get away with just updating the logo!
Revenue is always going to change what your forum is worth for the better. Without seeing any revenue, Forum's Rule is worth 100$ at the very least, and you can expect nothing less. Seeing this forum sell for 150$ to 200$ would not surprise me at all.
I have to agree with Clarkie and say somewhere between $50-$60. If it generates revenue then you could probably sell it for about $100 if you get at least $5-$10 a month.
