How much do you value FP at?

I don't think this has been done before, I know it's not my site, but how much would you value FP at? It's a great forum with a great userbase, I'd rate it very highly 🙂

I have no accurate estimate but definitely a lot... It has tons of posts, tons of members, a lot of which are actually active, and it's overall a really good and welcoming community... Everything a forum owner is looking for! 😛

I would probably agree with this. The SEO is pretty magnificent, and you could do a few extra things to monetize the site even more than it is now. It would be a pretty good investment 🙂

It's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, I've seen admins asking for over $1000 dollars for a site, and it eventually sells for like under $200.

Red Café is supposed to be worth over £200k, but that is mainly because it has donation income big enough to support a full time admin, there are not many forums like that around.

Yeah definitely a few thousand. But they should find a way to make money off of it if they truly were considering selling it. Someone might want to come along though and buy it just to have a kickbutt forum to keep them busy and for a hobby.

$2k, tops. I'd purchase it for $1k-$2k since it generates less than $100/mo from the looks of it. Not to mention traffic has dropped, and there are months when the header isn't even sold, and rarely any upgrades.

I believe that guy was running a scam. As there has been no change of ownership on that forum.

And probably like 2000-5000. If it made a larger sum of money you could times that by 10.
