How much is a good salary for a daily article writer?

So I've been running this blog a couple days and I've been wondering how much would it cost to hire someone to write 1 article a day. Since it's a blog it takes a little more work than a forum. Basically to make a post you need to do this:

• Write the article
• Pick some tags for it
• Get a large image for the homepage
• If you want, make a banner sized image for the featured article slider

So not too much more than a forum, but still more. So how much would it cost to hire someone to do 1-2 articles a day?

I would charge for the image design for the site (banner and article image etc). Also I would charge for the length of the article as well. Basically I would make sure that if I did all that I would get paid enough to cover my time spent doing it.

Don't quote me on this as a base but as a guess I would roughly say about £10 for the job. But daily that would get very costly on a daily basis. I think having regular income for the site and lowering the price would cover that though probably.

Actually £10 monthly I think is quite reasonable for one article a day.

Blog writers need to produce unique article, whereas Forum posters don't.
So they deserve high.

If you look for cheaper one, you maybe at a risk of finding a copy cat.

Many article writers sell their services for between $1 and $2 per 100 words. However, if you require them to find an image for the article and for them to tag the article they may charge a little more.

I myself write for 1 - 2 dollars per article on TPF, for about 400 word articles.
