How old-school are you at gaming? I play some pretty old-school games, so yep.

Not honestly what I was looking for, but whatever. 😛
I play Ultima Online, which was the first MMO ever made (1997), and sometimes even Age of Empires but I rarely play AoE. I play Soldier Front, which came out in about 2005 as well.

Play some older dos games from early 80s to mid 90s, as well as NES & SNES roms on my PC once in a while.

Well I'm not that old so it's rare to find a gamer my age that plays games old as I play, but no wonder people stick to them with today's generation of crappy games that they have set out for the incredibly low user-based really picky people...

I'm not that old either, I just enjoy older games more than newer ones, for the most part 😛.

Like even though I prefer games that require some thought, I spend a few hours a week or so playing burnout Paradise just as a stress reliever so eh.

I'm just not a huge fan of newer games, because they have pretty much destroyed the aspect of "fun" into shiny pieces and serve it to you on a silver plate. However, I may find a new game of now that may qualify as "fun", but it is very rare. I guess that's pretty much all I have to say of today's game system, they have just made a new generation of gaming and most of it is just unreliable, so yeah.

Yeah most newer shooters are pretty bad, of course a lot of NES games were pretty bad and were made artificially hard just so it took people longer to beat them letting them make short games. There comes a game once in a while like that burnout game I mentioned I find pretty fun, Assassin's Creed series too although I don't like the way its heading with yearly releases.

It just seems that new games aren't in class as they used to be, and there isn't anything to say there due to the fact that the programmers of the game can't make a new game that isn't already original of this generation of gaming.

New games are new and old games are old and it's going to stay at that untill they even make new generations of gaming, but if they do, I think that would be interesting to find out. I even wonder if they can make a suitable idea anymore, which they probably can't in a lack of new and old games being split up to where it's awkward to make a new-themed game. I always think it doesn't hurt to try something different, but not make it too different. 😉

Yep, I just pretty much play old PC games and that's pretty much it. I've only been into PS2 console games, and now I prefer PC gaming over console gaming.

I've got a lot of old Ps2 games, Driv3r etc which I always play 😛

PS2 is where the good stuff was at, but I gave mine to my cousins since they wanted one and I'm not into console gaming anymore, but my cousins are like the king of consoles. 😛 The oldest game I've played is Ultima Online, it was the first MMO. (1997). It's wonderful that people still play that game, because it's pretty godly.

Doom was the oldest game I've ever played, 1993 or something like that 😛

Yeah, never played the full version of Doom, on the flash game I could never get past the first level.

Yeah, I don't really understand it

I've played Counter Strike as well, so it is also one of the oldest games I've played.

Maybe it's too old for us.

Still play age of empires 3 (it's my favorite of them all), Half Life, DotA, Warcraft. And more old ones. I like older games, I would say they back as far as the 90's but late nineties early 2000's .

Im a real old school player. x)

I love NES titles like the original Mario Bros, Zeldas or Castlevanias titles but also some other like Duck Tales, also Master System ones, like MS Sonics and Shinobi, Golden Axe Warrior, The Lucky Dime Caper...

I also love Genesis/Mega Drive, Kid Chameleon, Sonic titles... SNES with Mario World, Starfox, A Link to The Past, Castlevanias...

But i like even some older games of Atari like Pitfall, so yep, im an old school gamer, mainly cause i don't like much this current generation, but i also like new games, i mean i loved PS2 generation, is this one the one i don't like. 😛
