How much posts does your forum gain a day?

NL don't be all sure, all focuses on what you base your forum around, @ the two smart *ss admins, the forum has gained quite alot of posts now comparing what we would have back in the days but it's the future.

Dudez you just have to promote more, get a few staff members around the board, get post packages, make loads or pre-posts, bring in something that can attract alot of users attention, don't just advertise on these board, advertise globally, on design forums, web master forums, free host support board although they mainly offer there board, gaming sites and much more.

That i what I'm doing. 😛 It's got up to 500 so that's good. I'm thinking of doing a very big upgrade to it.

Dashing I am surprised your activity levels haven't boosted, I expected with the move you had you would be gaining way more users as it is a great general chat forum to join, also maybe it shows how many inactive users there are?

It's only been a couple of days and people still need to re-adjust. Not to mention some of us went back to Uni this week as well.

But yeah, I'm optimistic about activity levels picking up. 😳

The sites I know of that seem to get a thousand a day are probably here and Wober. I'm sure there are others, too, though.

Well, even so, 100 is better than no achievement at all, really. They are doing awesome considering how old the site is.

It is difficult to keep a forum perpetually booming year after year. I've managed to do it {Modestly} for about 2 years but I can never just say it'll be the same scenario even a month from now.

I have found that a scientific and an artistic approach together works the best. Forums should always have some kind of stat counter installed that lets them monitor how many members log on and how many posts they receive day after day. It will let them see the warning signs before they get too serious.

Go on Big Boards and have a look at post counts per week. It puts things into perspective.
