How often do you check on old forums?

How often do you go back to forums you used to frequent and see how they're doing?

At least once a month until they become totally inactive e.g. I only stopped looking in on vbulletin.org during the last year.

I pop in every now & then. However, if there hasn't been any recent activity, especially by the Admin, I don't bother.

Use to check in on an old forum I was frequent in. Unfortunately, they were bought by Internet Brands and we all know how quickly their growth and eventual death comes up.

I’ll stroll down memory lane every few months and check out a number of old forums I no longer visit. Unfortunately more and more no longer exist as time goes on.

Unfortunately most of the older forums I would visit either shut down or switched over to Discord so I don't really bother checking out the ones who made the switch since I still prefer forums. However Sonic Retro is the oldest one I still visit every day and it's still going strong. It's been technically online since 2003 and is one of the most popular Sonic the Hedgehog forums.

i do try going back to forums i have been on but as same above some tend to go offline, but there are many that still stand strong and continue to grow.

Most the forums I used to frequent are either dead or got killed off by iPBFree and InvisionFree. Sometimes I will still check the dead ones for the memories and sometimes post here and there.

Oldest was on Forumotion and was for a Club Penguin fan forum. Unfortunately, that's not available through the WayBack machine

I don’t get the whole let’s switch to discord, Discord is a chat app but they do it anyways.
