How often do you get a new cell phone?

How often do you upgrade to a new phone?

I've had the same cell phone since mid 2019. Not sure if I should get a new one yet.

When the other has packed up 🙂 even if it's 50 years

Well, in terms of things whenever I can afford to get a new phone or when it has packed up or the good time to say that it needs a upgrade

When my cell phone's battery doesn't hold a charge or I need a new phone due to my cellular service requiring it, that's when I get a new phone. Otherwise, I can't see paying hundreds of dollars like that and I can't understand the need for a thousand dollar phone. But that's frugal me speaking since I grew up poor.

Well, now I have to wait till the phone is paid off. Use to, you was eligible every other year to upgrade your phone. Now you have to wait till the phone is paid off. My hubby says that I have "4 payments" left till my current phone is paid off. So I have to wait that long before I can get a new phone. My husband's phone is paid off and my mother-in-law's phone is paid off. Myself, my husband and my mother-in-law are all on the same plan.

You can a;ways pay extra early if you have the crash and pay it off early 🙂

The cell phone that I have at the moment I have now had for a year and prior to that it was my daughters until she got a new phone herself in 2021 at the moment, the phone is now two years old and still works very well and I have no issues with it. I know it maybe the next one to two years I may need to upgrade my phone especially if it ends up being that I can no longer get the new updates but until then, this one works fine for me.

I am currently using the best smartphone ever from the Nokia G series. I have been using it since the last year January

Do people still use Nokia phones. I am shocked people still do though. I don't just sit and buy a new phone to upgrade. The current phone must be broken down beyond repairs before I buy a new one.
