How often do you hit people with shoehorns?

One day, I was in the shoe shop. I finally found the pair of shoes I wanted--a plain black pair that was comfortable enough for me considering I'm on my feet several hours per day--and blew my shoehorn with glee. However, this shady looking guy ran up in front of me and tried to take my shoes. I smacked him on the back of the head with my shoehorn, and he ran off. Now, whenever the world isn't going my way, I smack people with the shoehorn that I've started carrying everywhere I go.

Shoehorns are great methods of self defense. One time when I was camping there was a bear rummaging through our stuff. I snuck out of my tent and whacked the bear upside the head and he was gone in an instant.

You don't know what a showhorn is? It's a little tool that you out on the heel of your shoe when you are putting shoes on and it helps get your foot in the shoe. It's for sure that you have a hard time getting your feet in.
