How often do you post on your own forum?

I think the owner/admin of a forum should have more posts than anybody, unless they acquired the forum after it was already active. I still think all owners should be a major contributer in their communites.

I like to make a couple posts daily, and respond to all/most discussions when I can. Interacting with members is key to building loyal/long-term members.

How often do you get involved in the discussions on your forum?

That's not easy when you have members with over 200,000 posts! I generally don't post for the sake of posting but statistically I make 2.467 per day on one of the forums I run.

You can still lead by example. Smaller communities NEED their owner to be the one of the most active members for the forums to grow.

I agree, it's imperative that the owner and staff members are seen to be active. The point I was making is that I have members who post to a degree I could never keep up with 🙂

I need to start posting more often on mine. I've posted on Thee Zone twice this week, on Tuesday and just now. I'm thinking I should make a schedule for myself to remind myself to post and make new threads.

Generally daily if there's something to post to, such as people seeking help from me or discussion topics of interest.

Daily, although I'm kind of 'starting'. But I will always post in my own forum, that's why I made it.

I go through days like that too where my activity drops, but I also have days where I'm more active than others.

Very rarely. I post more on other forums so that I can bring them to my forum. LOL

I have a mission to post three topics every day.

I also reply to all member posts with open replies.

I might miss a day or so because I try to be active outdoors during the weekend.

I completely agree with the importance of owner/admin engagement in forums. I think It’s crucial for building a strong, loyal community. I try to post daily and respond to discussions whenever possible.
