I just made a new post on my blog and searched the title in google (accidently as it happens, thought something else was on the clipboard) but the post was already in google:

I know some sites can have their pages added to google within seconds but how long does it users websites here to be googled?
Blogs naturally cache faster than basic pages because of their structure and other factors. I think my fastest cache was about 2 hours when I re-vamped the PixelRaider site. ~smile~
Google crawls your site regularly, they like blogs more as they tend to post good content that users want. If you post quality content on an already established site, it will crwal it quickly to get the information published ASAP. Before I blogged about Eastenders with how Danielle was killed off it took me around 24 hours to get added but it got a hell of a lot of traffic through Google, so they published my next post quicker due to my blog being a reliable source of information at that point.
