How should we get members?

I have tried tons of advertising nothing has really worked, mabe you know some more sites

Plus we are trying to think of promotions/contests to bring in people.

Also do you have any ideas on how we could make our gaming community different then others

You could try some of Forum Promotion's package services and do some post exchanges with our members, through the Forum Promotion exchange section.

FP is a forum where you can have signatures. Why not place a banner there? At least people know what your forum is an actually sign up.
